Performance Plus Healthcare includes Performance Plus Physiotherapy where you can be treated by Practitioners who specialise in treating all Musculoskeletal Injuries including Sports Injuries and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation. Staff also work in Private Hospitals where they advise patients on post operative rehabilitation.

There is also Performance Plus Womens Physiotherapy where we typically see Pre and Post Natal Issues, Continence Care, Sexual Health, and Pelvic Floor care. Staff also review patients in the Maternity Ward at Waverley Private Hospital.

Performance Plus Neurological Physiotherapy has staff experienced at managing injuries or the brain and nervous system.

Performance Plus Paediatric Physiotherapy has staff who specialise in treating disorders of children 0-18, and often cross over with the Neurological Physiotherapy in treatments.

Performance Plus Chiropractic Staff perform Chiroporatic treatments to assist in the management of Musculoskeletal and Sports Injuries particularly when there is Spinal Involvement.

Please arrive 15 Minutes prior to your first appointment as there is some important paperwork for you to fill out. There is also the opportunity to fill out forms online; look out for the email (check junk or give us a call if they don’t come through)

Our practitioners will do their best to keep your scheduled appointment times.

If you are a patient at Hawthorn, there is heaps of parking around the Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre. Make sure you get a ticket for the first hours free parking. Upon arrival let the HALC reception staff know you have an appointment and they will buzz you through to us.

If you are a Womens Health patient at Rowville, you will be contacted for a prepaid deposit for your appointment. This is to ensure appointments are kept and help reduce our waiting list for Maternity patients. On the day of your appointment please make your way to Reception and let staff know you have arrived.

Wear loose fitting clothing to allow the therapist access to your treated area. We can supply gowns if required, please ask your practitioner.

We appreciate payment on the day, and have HICAPS so that you can claim extras immediately from your health fund. It also can do EFTPOS and we take Amex, Mastercard and Visa. Unfortunately, we do not have facility for other cards.

Glenferrie Sports and Spinal

We are open 8-7 Mon-Fri and 8.30-12 Sat, however these hours are subject to change due to Practitioner availability. We are also closed during the main public holidays.

There is numerous parking available around Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre. Please note that parking officers are vigilant in the area. There is free ticketed parking for the first hour. Thereafter there is a cost. Occasionally during school pick times, and during the university term, the precinct can get quite busy. Alternatively, there is fantastic train and tram services right at our front door should you wish to utilise these.

Health Care Rebates are available from your Extras Private Insurance Cover for all of our practitioners depending upon your particular level of cover.

Our Physiotherapists are qualified to see all Workcover, TAC and DVA patients. Additionally, if your GP refers you under the EPC, you may be eligible for up to 5 treatments.  Whilst there are some practitioners who will bulk bill the majority or our therapists will charge a small gap fee in addition to the medicare rebate. Please ask at the time of booking if there are any extra fees with your booked therapists.
